About Us

Founded in 2018 with a humble start of 400 passionate revelers, Dirty Medics Carnival has rapidly evolved into one of Trinidad and Tobago's most premium all-inclusive J'ouvert experiences, now proudly hosting over 3,000 participants annually. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and creativity, we celebrate the heart and soul of J'ouvert, pushing the boundaries of Carnival while preserving its rich cultural traditions.

Dirty Medics Carnival is spearheaded by Mark Ayen, a leading authority in Trinidad and Tobago's Carnival industry and the current President of the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Bands Association. With his dynamic vision and dedication, Mark has positioned Dirty Medics Carnival as a symbol of innovation and authenticity in the Carnival landscape. He is supported by a powerhouse team, including Assistant Bandleader Kristian Spence, Secretary Tia-Marie Sutherland, and Executive Members Sade Perez Warner and Rachel Marie Wyke. Together, this young, vibrant team continues to redefine the J'ouvert experience, setting new standards in the industry.

Our 2025 J'ouvert presentation, "Space Jam", invites you to embark on an intergalactic adventure, blending the magic of Carnival with an out-of-this-world experience. Additionally, we proudly host the DMC Kids Mas Band, presenting "Nah Leaving - A Story of Home", which celebrates the essence of Trinidad and Tobago through the eyes of our youngest revelers.

Dirty Medics Carnival represents the future of J'ouvert and Carnival in Trinidad and Tobago. We are the only Carnival body driven by young, visionary professionals who are passionate about elevating and preserving our culture. Join us as we continue to create unforgettable moments, one celebration at a time.

Welcome to the Dirty Medics Carnival family—where tradition meets innovation, and every reveler finds their space to shine.
